State Nuclear Power Automation System Engineering Company (SNPAS) was
established with investment from State Nuclear Power Technology
Corporation Ltd and
Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Corporation Ltd. SNPAS is aiming at technology
introduction, project construction and self-reliance development
of Chinese nuclear power technology. The business scope of SNPAS
includes: design, integration, commissioning and technical
service for I&C system of nuclear power plant (NPP) projects;
supply, research and development of I&C equipment for NPP;
supply of spare parts of I&C system for NPP, and technical
support service for operation of NPP; system simulation,
management information system, low-voltage equipment and
electronic equipment, etc., businesses related with NPP.
Harbin Engineering University (HEU)
Founded in 1953, Harbin Engineering University (HEU) is a national key university
and entitled to enjoy first priority from the state in construction and development.
It is also an important base for education and scientific research in the fields of
ship industry, ocean exploration as well as nuclear engineering and technology.
College of Nuclear Science and Technology(CNST) of HEU was founded in 2005 based
on the Department of Nuclear Power Plant founded in 1959. Besides research activities, CNST also undertakes the training tasks for several

Institute for Standardization of Nuclear Industry (ISNI)
The Institute for Standardization of Nuclear Industry (ISNI) was founded in 1983,
it is a member of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and is the only administrative
organization of nuclear industry standard in China. ISNI is in charge of enacting and revising
the national standards and industry standards in nuclear industry. It is responsible for
information study, publication and consultation of standard. It also carries out quality
and reliability study. It is the secretariat of national nuclear power standard committee
(SAC/TC 58), national nuclear instrument committee (SAC/TC30). It undertakes the domestic
technical management of ISO/TC85 and IEC/TC45, editing and publishing the periodical of
Nuclear Industry Standard Measurement and Quality.
CNNC Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corp. (JNPC)
Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation - Tianwan Nuclear Power Station is a high-tech cooperation
project in nuclear field and also the largest technical and economic cooperation project so
far between China and Russia. The site is laid out for four 1000 MWe units, and also leave
room to house another four. Two 1060 MWe AES-91 PWR units are constructed for the first phase,
with a 40-year design life, annual load factor averaged no less than 80%, and annual output of
14 TWh. Its safety design is superior to the most operational PWR NPSs in the world
